It’s Friday, and the internet is abuzz with reactions to 50 Shades of Grey, which premiered a week ago today. BuzzFeed reporter Jarett Wieselman compiled a list of 141 thoughts they had while watching the movie. If you’re tempted to reenact scenes from the movie, be careful; it seems BDSM-related injuries have been on the rise since the movie’s premiere.

Speaking of BDSM, meet Ms. Robin: the 60-year-old grandmother of three who works as a dominatrix out of her basement. Ms. Robin has been practicing professionally for the past nine years, taking on only a few clients each month. These clients can be anywhere for 40 to 70 years old, proving that there’s no age limit on sexual pleasure.

For some beautiful body positivity, check out “Nothing to Lose,” an Australian-based dance project featuring seven “fat” dancers accompanied by readings taken from interviews with them. The project is meant to “investigate the relentless fascination with the fat body while abandoning stereotypes … and reclaiming a performative space for the large dancing body.”

While we’re on the subject of beauty, take a look at these gorgeous fair-trade condoms–the first ever! Entrepreneurs Waldemar Zeiler and Philip Seifer aim to make contraception sexy with “Einhorn” (German for “unicorn”) condoms, packaged in beautiful bags designed to look like a bag of chips. If you like the sound of that, maybe consider donating to their Kickstarter.

Across the pond, MPs are urging the Department of Education to make sex education compulsory in all primary and secondary schools, with specialist training for the teachers. Definitely like the sound of that!

Finally, Jennifer Wong at the Daily Californian, who writes a column titled “Sex on Tuesday” wrote a great piece on our society’s relationship to sex–specifically, our unwillingness to discuss sex openly and honestly.
